Chinese and European investments have obviously increased since “the Belt and Road” initiative was proposed. Countries that involve in “the Belt and Road” initiative are trying to make bilateral economic ties and cooperation. In the meantime, this can cause divergence. What are the investment policies in the European countries and China? Is “the Belt and Road” initiative have the one and only use – infrastructure? What are the potential solutions of these divergences?

Description: Model “16+1” is an educational simulation and/or academic activity in which participants can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the “16+1”. M”16+1” involves and teaches participants researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. It is meant to engage students and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current issues relate to China and Central and Eastern Europe.
The “16+1” format is an initiative by China aimed at intensifying and expanding cooperation with 11 EU Member States and 5 Balkan countries in the field of investments, transport, finance, science, education, and culture. In the framework of the initiative, China has defined three potential priority areas for economic cooperation: infrastructure, high technologies, and green technologies. This is a program that brings these countries together to enlarge their development potential. Internet and artificial intelligence are becoming essential to our daily life. What can be the potential cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe? What are the barriers to Internet Cooperation?
